Winter Drinks 2021
Okay so Christmas is over. It arrived and left so fast didn't it? (insert crying emoji). Well I hope you had a Merry Christmas and are feeling positive vibes towards the new year!
I decided to put out a youtube video of four winter drinks that you can still enjoy throughout the remainder of the winter season, which ends march 19 by the way!
These drinks are honestly so simple you can enjoy them the entire year and just tweak the ingredients or flavors!
Here they are!:

Mocha Latte
- Espresso or small strong serving of coffee
- 2 Tsp Cocoa Powder
- Foamed Milk
- Whipped Cream (optional)
- Peppermint Syrup/Extract (Optional)
Simply mix the cocoa powder into the espresso or coffee, add optional peppermint extract, steam/foam your milk and pour in the liquid holding back the foam, then top with foam.
Top with optional whipped cream and cocoa powder. Pop in my personal favorite sipper straw and enjoy!
Caramel Iced Latte
- A cup of coffee (cooled down is better)
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 2 Tbsp Caramel (homemade or store bought)
- Ice
If preferred you can drizzle caramel around your glass cup, then pour in ice, coffee, milk, and caramel. If your caramel is thick then mix it with the milk separately before pouring it into the ice cup.
Top with whipped cream and drizzle with more caramel on top. Pop in my personal favorite glass straw and enjoy!
Mimosa
- 1/4 Cup Cranberry Juice
- 1/2 Cup Champagne
- Garnish: Fresh Rosemary and Cranberries
You can also substitute for orange juice or any other of your favorites.
Pour champagne and juice in a flute cup and garnish with rosemary and cranberries.
Hot Chocolate Bomb
- Quality Chocolate Bar (I used semi sweet chocolate)
- Silicon Molds
- Hot Cocoa Powder
- Mini Marshmallows
- Crushed Peppermint (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Hot Milk
Melt your chocolate in a double broiler or microwave until very smooth and thin. Cover all around the outer wall of your molds with melted chocolate, leaving a smooth finish. Allow to solidify in your freezer for 5 minutes or until hardened. Gently remove chocolate from the molds and fill one half of your chocolate bomb with one tbsp cocoa powder, mini marshmallows, crushed peppermint, and anything else you might like to add.
Warm up a plate in microwave and place the inside of the other half of your mold on top of the plate to allow it to melt. Place both halves together and allow it to seal and hardened. Drizzle more chocolate or icing on top and sprinkle with crushed peppermint or sprinkles.
Gently place in mug and pour hot milk. Watch your chocolate bomb open up and then stir. Enjoy!
*I though the flavor of the chocolate bomb was so yummy and much more flavorful than regular hot chocolate!
