Melissa began blogging at the beginning of her motherhood journey and eventually started posting YouTube videos when she and her family moved to Italy for three magical years. She loves creating! Whether that is homemade skincare products, freshly baked goods, candles, diy decor, or a blog post thanks to her passion for reading and writing!

Melissa likes to celebrate daily mundane life by being intentional and romanticizing life. This includes making eye contact and listening to her family, opening the windows and letting in a breeze, taking a stroll, having picnics, or reading while her children play.

As a homemaker Melissa loves to decorate her home with thrifted and cozy items. She loves the cottage home decor style. She is learning to raise chickens and garden. She loves trying new recipes and making foods from scratch. She also loves organizing and decluttering!

As a wife Melissa loves sharing how traditional gender roles bring much balance to her household and family! She also loves serving her husband and enjoys at home date nights after the kids go to bed.

As a homeschool mom and toddler mom, Melissa loves spending all day with her children and is enjoying these years very much!

As a woman Melissa loves to read books, listen to podcasts, exercise, live a healthier lifestyle, and dress in pretty dresses.

Melissa lives in North Carolina with her husband, three daughters (and her first son on the way), and their dog Peanut.
