Paint Night

Set up a canvas, grab your painting medium, and a glass of wine, Paint night can be a fun and inexpensive way to do something creative with your partner. You can play soft romantic music, laugh at each others finished piece (for those who don't carry that artistic side, like me), and engage in a intimate conversation while you work on building your painting. Here are a couple of Youtube videos you can follow. Here is a tutorial for Van Gogh's Starry Night using acrylic paint. Here is a tutorial for a romantic scene using watercolors.

Game Night

Game night can be such a fun stay at home date night idea! You can turn up the heat and get competitive with your significant other. You can play fun games like speed or blackjack with a simple deck of cards. Or games like the Uno game and Bingo. You can decide on a special prize for the winner.

Another idea can be playing truth or dare (or truth or drink ;)), to get things exciting and spontaneous. A card questionnaire set can spark many great conversations and allows for deeper connections with your spouse. These games can be added on for after your dinner date or just have a full on game night with snacks and drinks. These games will be sure to keep things exciting and sensual.

Romantic Dinner

You can either order from a food delivery service or cook a meal together. Set the table, light a candle, play romantic music, and maybe even dress up! You can try a new recipe together like sushi, make a pizza from scratch, or cook a classic steak and potatoes dinner. Make it cliche by doing the whole holding their hand to help them cut the food thing or help them roll the sushi roll. Sneak in those kisses in-between, smile, build up the attraction!

Learn Together

Do you remember that exciting feeling of being in high school or college school mates? Or have you ever imagined what It would be like to experience sitting in a classroom setting with them? I know I have! Not only is learning something together a interesting and romantic stay at home date night idea, but you can connect so much more when you learn something new together. You can take an online class or seminar about many different things. Or hop onto Youtube and binge on a certain topic. It can be about finances, to improve your cash flow and find greater success together. Or read a book with them and engage in conversations about what you're learning. A great choice is the book The Five Love Languages and learn about which love language your significant other "speaks".

Play Pretend

Set up a massage spa and pretend one of you just walked in for your appointment. Act like this is the first time you meet. You can take turns role playing and give each other a massage. Alternatively, you can pretend you're in a spa and set up a mani and pedi area and put on a facial mask, because self love is much better together. You can even spice it up by playing photographer and model or replay the scene from when you both first met or the first date night, but maybe go all the way this time 😉

There we have it 5 at home date night ideas! I hope this post gave you some new ideas for a romantic and fun date night with your honey. Enjoy your night together because you both deserve it.

I ❤️ them all! I would say Eric and I have done, and continue to do the first four; however, we haven't tried the 5th one. It is a must and sounds sexy and alot of fun!
